EDP showcases new Brilliant to printers

Designer Emilio Roccioletti from ERD Communications walked more than 400 guests over the three evening functions through the award winning “If only we knew darkness’ project on screen.

Rodney Elias, promotional services manager at Edwards Dunlop Paper says, “The ‘If we knew only darkness’ project traverses this world showcasing Brilliant with stunning photography, outstanding design and exceptional print reproduction.”

Roccioletti says, “We started with the name Brilliant as a foundation and built a fictional world of darkness for which the only source of light would be the illuminated Brilliant sheet. ‘If we knew only darkness’ primarily focuses on the sheet of Brilliant and its white shade and how it interacts with people’s everyday lives. Each image was to have a connection with the key benefits of Brilliant.”

The considerable challenges were met by exacting print project management from ERD supported by; Ross Honeysett’s creative photographic interpretation and meticulous styling; as well as the accommodating attention to detail on machine and manual hand-work by the printer – Southern Colour. Prepress management prior to going to press is critical to say the least, and was ably handled by Sun Studios.

Manufactured for Edwards Dunlop, the newly expanded Brilliant range offers a multitude of choice with the addition of a Soft Cream Smooth, a surfaced enhanced Vellum (Evolution) and a dedicated Digital offering all, says EDP, providing excellent value.
