EFI highlights superwide solutions at FESPA

EFI demonstrated a broad suite of its printers, application capabilities, software workflow and management tools at the exhibition, highlighting its unique ability to deliver complete customer focused solutions and applications.

Specific printers on display included the award-winning VUTEk QS3200 – EFI’s three metre UV-curing digital inkjet printer which offers users superior image quality on both rigid and flexible substrates up to 3.2 metres wide and up to 5 cm thick.

Also part of the product showcase was the 3.2 meter roll-to-roll VUTEk 3360, EFI’s versatile, superwide solvent printer that enables print shops to easily step up to the legendary print quality, performance and reliability of a VUTEk digital inkjet printer.

Commenting on the sales success, Paul Cripps, managing director EFI Europe, says, "From the outset, FESPA 2007 was a big hit for us and throughout the event we enjoyed a record volume of quality traffic to the stand resulting in record sales and new leads.

"This fantastic response from the market reflects EFI’s worldwide recognition for delivering industry-leading technology that enables service providers to print to win, and is indicative of the team spirit and professionalism that exists within our organisation.

"It was apparent that decision makers had travelled to Berlin specifically to finalise their investment in cutting-edge superwide format inkjet technology that will enhance their service offering and increase business," adds Cripps.

Also attracting interest in Berlin was VUTEk UV Series 50 UV-curable ink that is specially developed for difficult-to-adhere-to substrates; BioVu – EFI’s award-winning environmentally-friendly solvent-based ink; Ultratex – a versatile dye-sublimation ink; and the EFI Fiery XF RIP, which provides powerful production solutions that enable printers to handle today’s demands for higher volumes and tight turnaround times, and which now offers new colour rendering technology to deliver improved ROI.
