Embassy staff get $291k entitlements

The money came from liquidator Philip Newman, who received that amount through the Greer scheme (general employee entitlements and redundancy).

Embassy Press collapsed last August with debts of around $2m. Since then a dozen former Embassy Press staff together with the two former owners Craig Dykes and Ryan Paternott have found work with a new company, Embassy Print Solutions.

Embassy Print was registered in the middle of last year in the name of Kristina Paternott.

The Embassy Press collapse came just a year after Dykes and Paternott bought it from owners of 30 years John Israel and Bob Gemmell, and resulted in a major dispute between the two parties.
