The Print & Visual Communications Association (formerly the Printing Industries Association of Australia) is hosting its second Print 2 Parliament in Canberra on October 23.
Tickets are now available for the event in Mural Hall, Parliament House to celebrate international print day, view gold winning National Print Award entries and to discuss the print, visual communications and packaging industry with politicians policy makers.
Tickets are $100 for members and $1000 for non-members to attend the cocktail party, drinks and canapes, with the print and packaging industry leaders from across the country.
The Print and Packaging industry is the largest manufacturing employer in Australia, and is predominantly SMEs. The industry operates in regional cities, as well as capital cities, and provides stable careers for school leavers. A graduate print apprentice has skills that are transferable across the entire digital economy. The industry is at the forefront of technology adaptation and investment. There is a printer in every Federal electorate in Australia.
