FESPA Australia’s iconic BBQ held in Melbourne

Over 60 FESPA Australia members turned out last night to kick start the year with a bang at the annual FESPA BBQ event on the Yarra River in Melbourne.

The BBQ was held at the Richmond Rowing Club and offered sweeping skyline views of Melbourne.

FESPA Australia President, Nigel Davies, said: “I know I say this every year, but this event really is getting bigger and better each year!” Now in it’s 32nd year, the BBQ is a much anticipated highlight of the yearly calendar.

This year’s event was proudly sponsored by Durst, Cactus Imaging, Mulford Plastics, HVG and Kissel & Wolf who supplied personalised stubby holders for all guests, a perfect accompaniment for keeping your beer cold on a warm night.

“After so many challenges over the last couple of years, it was especially great to see each other again and meet with people from all parts of the industry to hear their news and share their stories,” said Durst Oceania managing director, Matt Ashman.

“If this BBQ was anything to go by, then I can’t wait to attend the next event in Sydney next month.”

The next FESPA Australia event is being held in Sydney on March 16 at the Sydney Rowing Club, 613 Great North Road, Abbotsford – click here for tickets.
