First-timer exhibitors find their feet at PacPrint

For Alis Danti from Spanish plate maker Ipagsa, Australia is unfamiliar turf. He hopes PacPrint will serve as a platform to secure a local dealer for Ipagsa plates, which are well known in Europe and Latin America.

Ipagsa offers its Arte, Klasse and Universe thermal ranges. Danti, the vendor’s south-east Asian sales manager, said the Barcelona company hopes to supply Australia from its China plant. “The Chinese are coming and it’s also time for us.”

Bram Vermiest, managing director of Belgian developer Chili Publisher, is hoping to integrate the online document editor with related web solutions.

“MIS, workflow solutions – we see a lot of them at PacPrint. They could integrate Chili technology.”

Paper Force’s Gordon Thomas told the PacPrint Daily that Paper Force has been in the country almost a decade representing Asia Pulp & Paper.

“But we’ve never really had a public and a brand presence beyond very specific merchant customers. We’re in the process of relaunching Paper Force in Australia and we want to grow awareness.”
