Flyer company says winding up application sorted

Low cost flyer company Advertising Printing Australia (APA) has received a notice of winding up from the Deputy Commissioner of Taxes, however the company’s CEO claims the situation is now resolved.

Kapil (Bob) Bajaj, CEO and chair of APA says, “We have sorted it out.” Bajaj refused to comment any further to ProPrint questions.

The petitioning creditor is the Deputy Commissioner of Taxation and the petitioning creditor’s solicitor is an Australian government solicitor. The directions hearing is scheduled to be heard on June 21.

Advertising Printing Australia (APA) and its sister company Print4Less are based in Auburn NSW. They market themselves as ‘Guaranteed lowest price’. Typical print prices would be $496+gst  for 5000 single sided A4 full colour flyers, $1152+gst for 10000 A4 full-colour brochures folded to DL, $80+gst for 500 single sided full colour business cards on 310gsm board.

Print4Less is the printing arm, APA handles the flyer distribution, and also offers franchises. APA claims to be NSW’s fourth largest direct advertising, direct mail distributor, delivering over 34 million pieces of advertisement every year. 

APA’s clientele includes big names such as ANZ, NBNco, Auburn City Council, Subway, Sydney Water, Pizza Hut and Quest Serviced Apartments.
