Fuji Xerox event for DocuColor 5065

The event to be held on Thursday, July 20, at Rapid Digital’s premises at Artarmon will give printers an up close look at the capabilities of the DocuColor 5065, and a comprehensive demonstration of how to incorporate innovative, cost effective, digital printing into their printing operations.

In addition, attendees will be shown how effective the DocuColor is at printing offset-like quality products at up to 65 impressions per minute.

NSW graphic arts business manager at Fuji Xerox Australia, Sue Threlfo, welcomes the opportunity to explore the capabilities of the new printer. She says the DoucColor will help printers look after their customers needs, as well as improve their businesses profitability.

“We understand that modern printers need to protect existing customers and revenue from the competition, and also find ways to create profitable growth,” says Threlfo.

“Fuji Xerox digital printing and proofing solutions can be integrated with existing offset equipment to maximise investment. Regardless of your current equipment set up, our objective is to help you make the most use, and highest margins,” she says.

The event will also feature a presentation from Fuji Xerox’s Market and Business Development authority, Chad Pearce. Pearce will offer constructive ideas and advice to printers on how to develop strategies to expand and reach new markets.

There will be light refreshments after the event and Fuji Xerox is offering to provide transport for interested parties.
The DocuColor 5065 is Fuji Xerox’s latest light production digital colour device, designed to meet the unique demands of the graphic arts market.

The combination of outstanding true 2400 x 2400 dpi output quality and advanced EFI Fiery colour management technology make it the ideal solution to accelerate performance. Images are brought to life with vivid reproduction of subtle hues, natural gradations and smoother curves, while office productivity is enhanced through the device’s multifunction capabilities.

Implementing Fuji Xerox’s unique Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL) technology, the DocuColor 5065 achieves high resolution of true 2,400 x 2,400 dpi.32 Lines Per Scan.

Using the VCSEL, the DocuColor 5065 now boasts multi-beam capabilities, allowing it to write up to 32 lines per individual scan. Up until now, conventional laser technology has only been capable of writing up to two lines per scan. As a result, the DocuColor 5065 can produce four times the resolution of previous devices while maintaining the device’s super fast output speeds of up to 50/65 ipm.

Fuji Xerox Australia continues to be a leader in helping organisations capitalise on digital printing and on-demand publishing. To achieve this, Fuji Xerox Australia endevours to provide advanced workflow solutions, business development services, and innovative breakthrough technologies.
