Fuji Xerox gets “aggressive” with Triangle acquisition

Fuji Xerox Australia will take control of Triangle’s assets and customer base. Managing director Nick Kugenthiran (pictured) says: “This acquisition is a key part of a strategic journey to expand our technology and services offerings and develop integrated document services across various industries,” Kugenthiran said.

“It also signals a new, aggressive era in which Fuji Xerox Australia is not only consolidating, but increasing our market leadership,” he adds.

Triangle has been the sole local distributor of Fuji Xerox’s wide-format range for the past decade. The acquisition is expected to be completed in three months.

Triangle Corporation managing director Stuart Hardeman, who will retire when the acquisition is complete, described the sale of his company to Fuji Xerox as a “natural fit”.

“We believe this is a positive move for both companies and that our customers and clients will gain further value as a result,” he said.
