Fuji Xerox prepares for Innovate 06

To be held on Friday September 22, at Fuji Xerox Australia’s epicenter, Australian Technology Park, Sydney, “Innovate ‘06” will feature three international industry experts who will address delegates on direct marketing, streamlined workflows and variable printing.

To kick start the free half-day event in style, guests will have the opportunity to be photographed with two of Harley Davidson’s latest motorcycles, the 2006 limited-edition FLSTFSE2 Screamin’ Eagle Fat Boy; and the VRSCR Street Rod high-performance roadster.

Renowned digital printing authority and keynote speaker at “Innovate ‘06”, Roger Gimbel, will then address visitors on the value of innovation and change in the printing industry.

Gimbel says now is the time for marketers, printers and designers to embrace new technology and learn how to make the most of the business opportunities that arise.

“Don’t wait for your competitors to be the first to offer innovative digital services,” says Gimbel. “Now is the time to get educated about the potential of new communication offerings within this fast growing industry and capitalise on the business opportunities they present.”

Following Gimbel’s speech, attendees will have a choice of two of three talks including, a talk by Gimbel entitled “Business Development – New Sales Strategies,” a talk by CEO of Harry Waldman Graphic Communications, Harry Waldman, called “Harnessing a Powerhouse of Possibilities” which will discuss ways to gain a competitive advantage by designing for digital colour and a speech from the president of Cavendish Consultants, Dr Michael Turton called “The Power of Second Colour,” – which will give insight into redesigning statements, invoices and forms and adding a second colour to text and graphics.

Marketing manager for communication and loyalty in Fuji Xerox Australia’s Printing Services Business Division, Suzanne Myerson, says businesses must continually search for new ways to continue ongoing objectives and find new revenue streams.

“Innovate ’06 will educate attendees about tried and true approaches to graphic communication and will also inspire them to find new ways of doing business so they can improve their existing services and offer more value to their customers,” she says.

Fuji Xerox Australia’s Production Services Business Group continues to lead the way, helping organisations captalise on the dynamic world of digital printing on-demand publishing and one-to-one personalised communications. These advanced capabilities are enabled by the company’s workflow solutions, business development services and breakthrough technologies.
