Fuji Xerox releases new D-series printer/copier

Fuji Xerox Australia is releasing a new monochrome copier and printer for the light production market. Joining the D-series at the top of the range is the D136, which Fuji Xerox says offers users more choice in print speeds, server options and finishing capabilities to suit their production needs.

Samantha Dyer, product marketing executive, hardware, at Fuji Xerox Australia, says, “Our ongoing commitment to investment in monochrome production solutions for our customers continues to be something Fuji Xerox Australia is proud of. “The D136 copier/printer is the top of the D-Series range, and brings fast and flexible capabilities without the price tag or footprint of high production monochrome devices.” A good fit for secondary and tertiary education institutions, in-plant operations, franchises, quick print businesses and commercial printers, the company says the new model is designed to integrate into existing workflows and offers cost reporting capabilities to assist with administration. It claims to print up to 136 pages per minute and scan up to 200 images per minute in full colour – which Fuji Xerox highlights as potentially useful for digital archiving or delivering heavy document loads to clients in a hurry. The Build Job feature from the D-series continues in this latest machine, collating documents into a single digital format to simplify workflows. The entire D range also prints from and scans to USB memory devices and uses Fuji’s Emulsion Aggregation (EA) toner. The D136 printer and copier also offers finishing options including interchangeable hole punch styles, stapling and SquareFold booklet making (up to 25 sheets, 100 imposed pages). Users can also choose between a standard integrated copy/print server or Fuji’s FreeFlow Print Server for more complex production workflows. The D136 copier and printer is available now.
