Fuji Xerox shakes print at epicenter

Fuji Xerox’s new product lineup, including the new DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press as well as the Nuvera black and white digital platform, will be flagship offerings at all epicenters. Catering for a region-wide production print audience, the epicenters will showcase end-to-end solutions and facilitate collaboration between third party partners and Fuji Xerox.

The epicenters will also serve to promote file and application testing, facilitate training programs and provide a forum for exhibiting the company’s innovative technology, as well as containing many realms of differing experiences. These range from the traditional digital printing environment to highly personalised and customised one-on-one high quality, short run colour communication.

Application development will be a key component of the Fuji Xerox epicenters, where staff will work to replicate customer workflows and then investigate ways to improve the time and costs associated with these workflows. A plethora of software and services will be deployed to assist in this re-engineering process that is poised to result in significant cost benefits to the company’s customers. In addition, the epicenters will allow Fuji Xerox staff and customers to work closely together to develop new applications for emerging markets where digital printing will become commonplace.

The concept for the epicenters is based on Fuji Xerox Australia’s Technology Centre at the Australian Technology Park. First opened in 1997, the facility has enabled the company to emulate true client environments as well as to successfully test and refine proposed solutions for its customers.

Phil Chambers, Fuji Xerox Australia managing director, says, “It is our intention to improve and replicate this facility throughout the Asia-Pacific region allowing us to communicate our brand values of innovation, expertise, quality and reliability as well as our successes and heritage throughout the four epicenters, destined to serve sixteen countries in the region”.
