Fuji Xerox’s 700 digital press tops 200 installations in Australia

Henryk Kraszewski, production colour marketing manager at Fuji Xerox Australia, says, “The product’s strong uptake shows there is a willingness among the print industry to invest in appropriate technologies to maintain competitive advantage, despite economic cutbacks.”

The 700 Digital Color Press has also proven to be a springboard for printers that are entering the digital printing market for the first time, representing more than 20 per cent of orders, according to Fuji Xerox.

Kraszewski continues, “The 700 Digital Color Press has brought in new customers and driven digital revenue from previous offset-only customers. It is proving to be an ideal solution for both traditional offset printers that want to expand their digital business as well as smaller print providers that want to dive straight into the digital market for the first time.”

The company concludes that to tailor the 700 Digital Color Press to meet specific operational requirements, print providers can choose from up to 56 potential press configurations, incorporating a variety of feeding and finishing options.
