Fujifilm in the Clouds

According to Fujifilm CloudNet will provide significant efficiencies in the print production process, as well as providing the resource for printers’ customers to take amore active role in the job. It will also provide significant cost savings as it operates on a software as a service basis, saving printers the need to develop their own IT infrastructure.

Fujifilm also showed its latest version of its XMF workflow, together with its wide format printing solutions, including the top selling Arizona series.

XMF is being developed as an iPad application, which the company says will help print customers take ownership of the job, and will develop closer relationships between printers and their customers.

The Acuity HS3545 wide format printer was also on the stand, the UV printer will pump out up to 67sqm of inkjet print an hour.
