Intec Printing Solutions UK has named Brisbane-based supplier G2psd as the distributor of its digital printers, foiling and cutting equipment in Australia.

G2psd director Bernie Hockings has just returned from a one week familiarisation course in the UK and is impressed by the technology being released by the UK manufacturer.

Hockings expects the flagship product moving forward will be the version 2 FB8000 Pro automated cutting system, which he said can fulfill the needs of higher volume production users when unattended operation is the key.

The complete production run of the version 1 machine has sold out and the new version 2 model is shipping now, its upgraded features include an intuitive LCD operator control panel and improved heavy sheet handling on the auto-feeder.

G2psd director Bernie Hockings said.

Hockings said the ability of this device to cut, perforate, score in one unit with suction auto-feeder and camera controlled high-speed operation means it is extremely versatile.

Intec also supplies a range of manual feed cutters to suit all users.

The other product highlighted by Hockings is the Colorflare CF1200 semi-automatic foiler and laminator which offers speciality finishing for the digital markets.

It features greater pneumatic pressure than many other machines and a specially developed foiling roller to ensure that the foil is dead flat when applied to the media.
