Gandinnovations launches ‘fastest’ UV grand-format press

The 3.2m-wide Jeti 3348 Jetstream UV RTR, which is designed for point-of-purchase (POP) and billboard print applications, can produce 232sqm per hour at 300dpi.

Other features of the machine include a backlit option that uses a camera system to ensure perfect registration between the print on the front and the back of the sheet.

To reach its top speed, the four-colour 3348 uses 48 Spectra printheads.

Gandinnovations is also showing its new Nanojet UV flatbed machine. Claimed to be the first flatbed to offer photorealistic output, it is a six-colour machine that produces 800dpi output.

It handles sheets up 2.43×1.21m and in high-quality mode produces 20.4sqm per hour.

Another star of the company’s exhibit, in Hall 5, Stand A23, is its Jeti 3324 Aquajet Direct-to-Fabric digital printer.

This uses a water-based dye dispersed ink and prints in six-colours at 400dpi on a range of fabrics to produce flags, banners and textiles.
