Glunz & Jensen to showcase new plate processor at Drupa

The new processor replaces the original Gecko model and includes a new appearance along with an integrated control panel with status/error messages and function keys for easy program changes.

Gecko+, which was launched in February, includes the Glunz & Jensen Remote Enabling System, which enables remote service access to the processor via the internet.

Ross Gilberthorpe, sales and marketing manager for Australian supplier Australian Graphic Servicing, told ProPrint that remote access was something local users would appreciate.

“Remote service capabilities over the internet in a country as big as ours is a fantasic tool to have in your bag,” he said.

The Gecko+ is available for conventional, thermal and violet photopolymer applications, and in 850mm and 1,250mm width.

Glunz & Jensen business unit director Simon Jensen said: “The Gecko+ delivers the Glunz & Jensen processing quality and is ideal for smaller printing offices and houses.”
