GMG gains HP Gold partner badge

GMG said the companies had been collaborating for a number of years, initially with HP’s Z-series Designjet range.

Garry Muratore, GMG sales manager for Oceania and South East Asia, told ProPrint that the move marks a continuing partnership between the two vendors.

“GMG here in Australia is extremely proud of our relationship with an industry leader such as HP. Recently we assisted HP at a regional customer event in Shanghai which saw customers from around the region including Australia take part,” he said.

“Next month we look to strengthening the relationship further by presenting at the dscoop seminars (Indigo Users Group) in Seoul and providing color management technologies for HP Indigo devices at the Korean tradeshow KIPES.”

The software, which would be demonstrated in HP’s showrooms, is the only Gold level partner in colour management for the presses.

The company added that the software could be used to achieve colour parity with ISO Coated v2 offset print on both wide and large-format printers using an automated process.

Chief executive Paul Willems said: “The HP Gold partner status clearly demonstrates the high-quality standards the GMG brand stands for and will certainly help to enhance the visibility of our joint solutions”.
