The machine will be the latest in the Universal series. Goss has said that no information is available until the show, but confirmed that it would not be an XL machine.

Jochen Meissner, chief executive at Goss International, said: “Publishers and printers of all sizes are demanding added versatility and efficiency to produce a wider range of products at lower costs.

“With the most complete range of large- and small-format press platforms and extensive expertise in customising these presses for specific requirements, we are in a strong position to support these customers.”

The manufacturer will also use the event to showcase its Lifetime Support programme.

The programme includes integrated enhancement, parts, service and training options designed to improve performance, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and extend the competitive lifespan of existing press systems.

The Ifra Expo takes place in Hamburg on 4-5 October.
