GrafikaLinks brings open house to ACT

Attendees to the open house participated in three sessions over each of the two days including a seminar, which featured an interesting discussion about markets, the future of print and the rise of the digital printing press.

Also at the show, GrafikaLinks had the Kimosetter 525 along with the new Intec MMC320 digital production press on display. Sydney-based print shop SB Jarvis bought an MMC320 during the event.

Maria Gagetti, distributor support manager at GrafikaLinks says the event received a strong turnout with around 38 companies sending representatives.

She says, “Everybody really loved the event as it’s been a long time since any manufacturers or distributors have put on an event like this in Canberra. It people to see firsthand some of the late4st products available on the market.”

A highlight of the seminars was a presentation by Tim Sawyer, director Asia Pacific for Presstek International who spoke on the latest trends and the recent changes throughout the printing industry.

Gagetti adds, “The printers who attended found the day very informative, it was also a good chance for them to compare experiences with other industry members.”

GrafikaLinks is the local distributor for Presstek, Kimoto and Intec.
