Graphic Art Mart opens in south Sydney

Wide format media and hardware supplier Graphic Art Mart has opened its seventh distribution centre, in Peakhurst south Sydney, which will complement its existing North Rocks facility.

It is the fifth new branch the 43-year-old company has opened since 2013. Mousa Elsarky, general manager says, “This new site, in addition to our North Rocks facility, now offers fast and convenient access to our products throughout the metropolitan area. It is our desire to offer Sydney customers the best of products and the high service levels they deserve.”

Graphic Art Mart does have daily delivery services from its North Rocks centre, however Elsarky says, “Many customers may have a rush job where they need to pick up a certain kind of media immediately, travelling from south Sydney to North Rocks can be a mission, I know because I do it every day, the new facility in Peakhurst means those customers will be able to access the media they need easily and quickly.”

Only three years ago Graphic Art Mart had just two distribution centres, today it is in every mainland capital city, and now with two in Sydney. Elsarky says, “Our aim is to provide the optimum service to our customers. We have always been a national supplier, but today we have a nationwide footprint, which is good news for the market as it works in an increasingly on demand world.”

Graphic Art Mart supplies a range of hardware and media from the likes of Avery Dennison, Roland DG, Arlon, Aslan, Chemica, Mimaki, Sihl and 3M among others. The company was founded and owned by the Tailby family until a year ago, when it was bought by Dotmar.
