Australian Printer got amongst the industry hopefuls on the night, with journalist Carlos Martinez presenting five Printer Magazines Group Awards.

Categories winners included Christopher Horowitz for Print Finishing, Daniel Borg for Graphic Pre press, Ahmet Yaman for Printing, Scott Macleod-Jones for Screen Printing and Anna Moran for outstanding achievement.

Ross French, graphic arts awards night coordinator says the awards show the high standard of the TAFE students, and are important to recognise the efforts made by students in the graphic arts industry.

French says, “It is an industry supported event and it is good for the students. If a student wins an award it can help them along in there career as it is something worth mentioning in their CV.”
