Hannanprint gives inside peak at $90m Warwick Farm supersite

Hannanprint is being relocated from the suburb of Alexandria to the new facility, established on a 12.8-hectare site in Sydney's west. The move is expected to be complete by early next year.

"All major equipment has been commissioned at Warwick Farm and is meeting our output expectation," said IPMG chief executive Stephen Anstice.

The flagship of the new plant is brand new 96pp Manroland Lithoman, while the site will also house a number of presses shifted across from the old Hannanprint plant.

The highly productive and automated press should help in the tough trading conditions. "We do not expect to see any significant improvement in trading conditions during 2013 but will have the benefit of improved efficiencies from the new plant," said Anstice.

The relocation of Hannanprint form Alexandria also releases "three-hectares of prime real estate in the Sydney airport to CBD corridor", which should provide an uplift to IPMG's properties business.
