The NexPress Solutions team will continue to work under the direction of Jon Field, who will take up the role of national manager Nexpress, Australia & New Zealand, moving on from Heidelberg after a career spanning almost 20 years.

Field says he is excited to be able to continue to work with the digital solutions developed by Heidelberg and Kodak under the original joint venture.

“Under the NexPress banner we will be able to take advantage of the ongoing relationship between Heidelberg and Kodak. Furthermore, NexPress and its customers will continue to benefit from the joint venture’s manufacturing excellence. Of fundamental importance is the ongoing commitment from Kodak to this market segment by way of continued investment in research and development to provide the most comprehensive digital solutions,” says Field.

“It’s really business as usual. Customers will continue to deal with the same people in sales, service and support. NexPress may be a new business entity, but it is supported by the expertise of the digital team from Heidelberg Australia putting it into a position of strength from day one.”

Visitors to drupa recently were treated to multiple launches of extensions to the Digimaster and NexPress product lines, in a move to enhance the products value offering.
