Heidelberg Women in Print continues its popularity

Guests comprised women working in print, women working in industries which supply print and women who are customers or guests of companies operating across the print media spectrum. It was a broad and interesting mix of attendees and shows the diversity of our industry and of the women who work in it.

Heidelberg Women in Print keynote speaker for 2012 was Judith Fordham – an accomplished criminal barrister who has held positions on many professional boards across psychiatry, forensic science and psychology.

Judith’s easy-going, entertaining and humble speaking style was appreciated by guests, and her popularity was evidenced in the never ending queue of women wanting to sit and chat with Judith after her speech, or buy her book.

Diandra Gavillucci, Heidelberg Women in Print coordinator says, “I was pleased to see that our attendee numbers this year were on par with last year, despite the tough times our industry has experienced recently.

“Kudos to the women in our industry – they understand and appreciate the importance of Women in Print and they support it year after year with their time and money.”

Planning will soon be under way for the 2013 Heidelberg Women in Print events. Any companies wishing to enquire about becoming a Women in Print sponsor should contact Diandra Gavillucci.

Major sponsors for this year’s the event included Heidelberg, GEON, Bluestar and PMP Limited.
