HH Global to double Aussie print

International print management firm HH Global says it will more than double its spend in the Australian print industry, expected to exceed $15m this next financial year.

Releasing its annual figures HH Global revealed turnover jumped by 37 per cent, while EBITDA grew by 61 per cent, bolstered by a number of overseas client wins and contract extensions.

Andrew Price, chief executive officer for Asia Pacific says HH Global anticipates it will more than double its print expenditure in the Australian market compared to last year.

“There are a couple of very large tenders which we are involved with which, if we are successful, could significantly increase that figure,” says Price.

“The APAC region is now the fastest growing region within HH Global. We have had some significant client wins across our key markets and we expect that to continue. For example in one APAC country we have just received a contract to deliver one million A4 forms per day.”

Despite the muscle of the APAC market, Price says still less than 10 per cent of the HH Global APAC revenue stems from Australia.

However the addition of four major clients, including Volkswagen Australia has assisted in developing the market in Australia and NZ.

APAC markets represent some 18 per cent of the group’s global turnover, which has spiked 5 per cent from the same period last year.

“With turnover growth of 72 per cent in our last fiscal year, demand is expanding in this region for our outsourced procurement and creative production solutions,” adds Price.

“We continue to deliver significant, measured cost savings to large multi-nationals while managing the challenges of their complex supply chains for printed marketing materials, packaging, and creative production.”

HH Global launched on Australian shores in 2012 and Price joined the print management firm after his stint as CEO at paper merchant Paperlinx – now known as Spicers – ended abruptly.

Prior to Paperlinx Price was CEO of Stream Solutions, which he built into Australia’s biggest print management business.
