High res ink jet coder series available

According to Mark Luft, national sales manager of Dy-Mark Identification Solutions the UBS APLINK series can print high-speed high-resolution text, graphics and barcodes in real-time directly on to porous surfaces.

Luft says, “The APLINK series has been specifically designed for companies who are looking to print variable images and data on to secondary packaging in real-time productions environments.”

He adds, “The APLINK series is adaptable and can quickly and easily be integrated in to multiple production lines. Quick installation, minimal maintenance and 99 per cent readability ensures that the range is the ideal solution for many industrial environments in Australia.”

Dy-Mark claims that due to the high-quality print heads the APLINK series can print up to 70mm height prints with high resolution messages and is capable of printing in top and side at up to 30 metres per minute.

The APLINK series features include:

  • The UBSLabel CS software, which has been developed for barcode and label design, is easy-to-use, WYSIWYG and multilingual.
  • The optional UBS LABMAN software, which allows management and control and access to all marking and identification systems within the production environment.
  • Touch screen display APLINK MR, which includes a PC card and internal hard drive that allows storage and access to all barcodes, variable image, data and graphics.
  • The APLINK HP, which integrates any production environment and is capable of controlling inkjet coding operations simultaneously.

Luft concludes, “With the option of solvent or oil-based printers available in the series the APLINK range has been developed to suit all harsh industrial requirements.”
