Chief among these is the Infoprint 5000, which prints full colour at speeds up to 128 metres a minute on an image area up to 507mm printable area. Handling paper from 64 to 157gsm the speed translates into 1724 A4 pages colour pages a minute or 103,000 pages an hour.

Resolution is up to 720 x 720dpi with two bits/spot and multiple inkdrop sizes. It uses innovative piezo-electric drop on demand inkjet technology wkith water based inks that are resistant to fading and smearing.

The whole system is ryun through an InfoPrint 5000 Controller, and can be specified with an enhanced AFP front end enabling printers to combine print and personalisation technologies. InfoPrint also supplies monochrome printers including the InfoPrint 75 and InfoPrint 100.
