HP appoints Spandex to resell latex range

Jeremy Brew, business manager, HP Latex Technology South Pacific says, “Spandex has a long history of supplying to the sign and wide format market. Spandex customers are now able to access the award winning HP Designjet Latex Printer range, which help reduce time to market by eliminating drying or outgassing time. Using environmentally friendly water based HP Latex Inks, and with printer widths up to 2.64m wide, these printers are the game changer for the wide format graphics market.”

The Designjet L26500 can print up to speeds of 22.8 square metres per hour at a print resolution of 1200x1200dpi, while the L28500 prints up to speeds of 70 square metres per hour at resolutions of 1200x1200dpi. It uses eco solvent inks and water based inks and the HP Latex Inks are cured inside the printer.
