HP joins its Australia and New Zealand distributer the Currie Group at PacPrint 2013, where they are publicly showcasing the first time in Australia, the B3 format sheetfed HP 10000 digital press.

On the largest stand at PacPrint 2013 there is also on display the HP Indigo 76000, 5600, 35550 and the WS6600 digital presses.

HP hosted a media briefing which was attended by Currie Group managing director David Currie and HP’s general manager of its Indigo division Alon Bar-Shany.

Bar-Shany says, “The new HP Indigo’s have been successful for us and we are anticipating the arrival of the newer and bigger versions in mid-2014. The Currie Group has been performing superb in the Australia and New Zealand markets and we are proud to have them as our distributer.”

HP will also be working with the Currie Group to deliver a range of printing seminars during PacPrint 2013.

Gido van Praag, vice president and general manager, Graphics Solutions Business, Asia Pacific & Japan, HP,  Aurelio Maruggi, vp and gm, inkjet high speed production solutions division and Steve Donegal, country manager, HP Indigo and inkjet digital press solutions, GSB South Pacific were also in attendance.

Pragg says, “HP’s main goal at PacPrint is to demonstrate our technologies, associated applications and services to meet the demands of our printer customers and their customers the brand owners.”
