IBS continues to grow with Genius

From its Nerang factory on the Gold Coast, IBS Cards has grown to become a major trade printer supplying customers not only across Australia but also in New Zealand and beyond.

Michael Culverwell, general manager, IBS Cards says the company’s diverse product range and reputation for the highest quality has attracted a growing and satisfied clientele.

At the heart of the production, IBS has deployed and is thrilled with two KBA Genius 52UV waterless offset presses, supplied by Jet Technologies. Culverwell says that they Genius presses have enabled IBS to print a vast range of substrates from tissue paper to polypropylene.

Growing into short run packaging is an avenue that IBS had planned all along, with the Genius perfectly suited to printing onto plastics due to its waterless UV capabilities.

Scott Siganto, managing director, IBS says that he was thrilled with what they could achieve and is confident that in the future, short run packaging will play a large role in their product mix.
