Ideal PrintEx for Jasco

Massimo Iopollo, product manager at Jasco, says, “It’s a useful branding operation for us. We sell strictly through dealer networks so we are not looking to make trade sales but PrintEx11 offers a good opportunity for customers to see the new machinery and to get training for their staff. Our clients can bring their customers on to the stand.”

The company covers all of Australia. He says, “we have flown staff in from interstate to help at the show. We are focusing on the Ideal machines, their president Hubert Haizmann is out here from Germany at the show. We cover everything from entry level friction fed folding machines to air fed machines. We have been the Ideal agents for 40 years and the Uchida agents in Australia for six or seven years and we have built up really strong relationships during that time. We supply paper drills from entry level up and we have desk top guillotines all the way through to units that sell for forty grand, so we are category managing them. On the Ideal desk top units we can offer lifetime guarantees.”

The company also demonstrated the Uchida Aerocut. He says, “There has been a lot of interest on it. It can do up to SRA3 and we sell it with a perforating module as standard, that’s not an additional extra. The Arocut has a much smaller footprint. It has a job memory for 50 custom jobs, skew adjustments and it creases at five different depths.”
