The integrated Galerie Premium print system enables photo retailers to develop high quality digital photo enlargements from CD ROM, digital camera files, prints and transparencies.
The Galerie Premium system incorporates the new Epson Stylus Pro 7600 or 9600 printer with seven-colour gamut, UltraChrome inks and Galerie Premium workflow, which provides print stability and convenient image control, allowing staff and the customer to make final onscreen adjustments. Galerie Premium media is profiled in the system (and alternate medias can be profiled if desired) to consistently produce high quality enlargements.
Ilford says Galerie Premium is a turn key system which can be installed quickly and easily, is simple to use and expedites print production of professional photo quality enlargements onto a diverse range of media, including fine art, canvas, gloss and matt as well as Galerie media frame ready boards in sizes up to 20″x 24″.
Scott Williams, Ilford Australasia retail product manager, says the enhanced Galerie Premium software capability would enable creation of all size enlargements in-house, adding enormous value for the retailer.
“GALERIE Premium is already the premier in-house digital enlargement system for photo retailers, however until now, most enlargements had to be outsourced at a cost to the retailer and delay to the customer,” Williams says.
“Now, with their existing system, retailers have the tools to provide their customers with any size enlargement while they wait. This means retailers can provide the most competitively priced enlargements, while ensuring they receive optimum return on their investment.”
