InfoPrint launches Pro C900AFP cut-sheet press

The 90ppm machine, which is based on the Ricoh C900, has the ability to handle both Adobe PDF and Postscript pages, as well as the PPML datastream language.

It also offers a JDF-based job ticket feature that allows the user to produce complete PostScript or PDF documents. The operator can also choose finishing options that include ring-binding, perfect binding and bookletmaking.

Rick Carver, worldwide product marketing manager at InfoPrint, said the new press could help “lower production costs and reduce overall waste”.

“To deliver highly variable colour applications, with both text and graphics content, customers need a dynamic print architecture that can accommodate their evolving needs,” he added.
