Kayell kicks on with colour solutions

Created in Australia by Serendipity Software the Veripress allows anyone in the print chain to view, amend and approve, with the printer then printing to the proof on his monitor.

It uses ripped files from the platesetter to insure integrity, and has an auto de-imposition function, allowing the press operator to see the finished product on the fly.

Kayell also showed the X-Rite hardware with GMG software through the Intellitrax scanner and Printcheck software, to ensure correct colour.

Other solutions on Kayell‘s booth included the new Eizo 27” monitor with built in calibration sensor. Also on show was the Barbieri spectrophotometer series, and the GMG ColorServer, which allows printers to print uniform output across multiple devices. It sits in front of the rip and will enable printers to achieve the same colours whether outputting to large format, digital or offset.
