Komori combines successful drupa with solid results

During the first few days of the exhibition, Komori won major orders from China that included several Lithrone LS40s, Lithrone Super Perfectors and a 16-page web press. This set the scene for the rest of the show, with orders coming from around the globe for equipment spread across the Komori range.

Net sales for the Komori Corporation for the 12 months to March 31 2004 were over US$900m, up 6.8 per cent on the previous year, with an operating income of over US$60m, up 30 per cent.

“When you look at the performance of most press manufacturers around the world, this is an excellent result for Komori”, says Philip Dunn, head of marketing for Komori UK. “It shows that our strategy of focusing on offset press technology is the right one”.
