Komori showcases 200-sheet print run offset Lithrone technology

The Offset On Demand Open House took place last month and showed the GL-440 along with an upgraded LS-426 running quick-turnaround jobs of 200 sheets.

Komori’s H-UV system ensured fast drying so that sheets could be quickly guillotined and folded straight after printing.

The demonstration also showed makereadies with the machines producing colour-matched prints after just 20 sheets.

The G40 was also demonstrated producing four-colour work and turn, printing the same image on both sides of the sheet, but using the same plates – saving on print costs.

The new press is able to print at speeds up to 16,500sph and can work with substrate thicknesses between 0.04 to 0.8mm using an improved feeder and delivery unit based on technology in the Lithrone SX40.

Komori is distributed locally be Ferrostaal Australia.
