Konica Minolta hosts Accurio C3080 launch

Konica Minolta is launching the latest generation of its Accurio digital presses, the C3080 series, having hosted a launch event for the lineup at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

The series includes the AccurioPress C3080, C3070 production colour presses and 6136, 6136P and 6120 monochrome printers which Konica Minolta says are available with its new IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Optimiser software. The company says it provides a higher level of colour consistency, automated sheet registration (image-on-image, image-on paper and front to back side registration) on every page, measured and managed automatically in real time, by the digital press.

Printers present at the event included Tom Lusch of Platypus Graphics in Brisbane, Nathan Rosenberg of Bunyip Print and Copy in SA and  Emmanuel Buhagiar of Imagination Graphics, the first company in NSW to install the AccurioPress C6100.

Konica Minolta says the AccurioPress offers versatility and reliability for on-demand printing, with print speeds of up to 81ppm, equating up to 4,399 A4 sheets per hour or 2,113 SRA3 sheets per hour.

Sue Threlfo, general manager, Production & Industrial Print, Konica Minolta, says, “Everyone has challenges within the industry and it can certainly be tough at times. But we want to be here with our customers, and help them grow and to achieve new heights that they haven’t before. I know there are great innovators in this room. I have seen a few people who I know have made technology decisions and business decisions that set them up to have a sustainable business in the future.
