Kwik Kopy Gosford buys Versant

Fuji Xerox Australia had a strong PacPrint, with Kwik Kopy Gosford (NSW) among those printshops purchasing the Versant 3100 Press.

Kwik Kopy owner, Peter Clarke said he selected the Versant solutions as it gives his business the opportunity to reach new markets and increase capabilities whilst reducing costs.

The Versant platform is designed to provide whole of job capability to allow for greater productivity within a smaller footprint. The Versant 3100 Press, in particular, offers printers end to end finishing capability and the ability to expand services in house.

The PacPrint show came at a good time for Fuji Xerox, which has been through the mill recently with the departure of several high profile identities in its production print business, and parent company Fujifilm launching an investigation into eye watering $260m losses said to have been racked up by the New Zealand operation during the tenure of Neil Whittacker, who came over to run the Australian business before resigning following an unannounced audit buy regional headquarters.
