Kwik Kopy leadership change with Matt Penfold the new chair

The family-owned Kwik Kopy franchise is undergoing a leadership overhaul with Matt Penfold taking the role of chairman with the group’s CEO David Bell, CFO Wayne Stanton and senior manager of training and development, John Post, to retire in the coming months.

The franchisee business is making these changes as it eyes a new strategic direction for 2022.

Director Matt Penfold has further increased his involvement with the management of the still family-owned company and is now Chair. He also continues to own and operate a Kwik Kopy franchise in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Further strengthening the management team is successful business entrepreneur Annalise Andrews (nee Penfold) who has joined the Board which also includes founder Stephen Penfold who continues to play an active role in the management and growth of the company.

“I would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the remarkable service David, Wayne and John have given to our business over the past many years and it’s been an honour to work with them. Their contribution has been invaluable and we will forever benefit from their professional and personal support in the success of the Kwik Kopy system as a whole,” Matt Penfold said.

“The Board has commissioned extensive strategic business analysis and development through external consultants with the goal of creating a future-focused company built for growth and innovation. A recruitment process will also begin early in the new year to ensure the alignment of its talent and business strategies.

“I’m excited about bringing in a new and dynamic era for the company and our franchisees. We have an extraordinary history, and now we are ensuring franchisees will be part of extraordinary future.”
