Kwik Kopy named top 10 franchise

Print franchise Kwik Kopy has been named in the top 10 franchises in Australia by Topfranchise, coming in sixth place as the only print franchise named in the list.

The Topfranchise Awards recognise the activities and achievements of Australian franchisors, with award winners determined based on the satisfaction of their franchisees. Each year, more than 1,500 Australian franchises are queried through a comprehensive survey conducted by specialist researchers, 10 Thousand Feet, and Seek Business.

John Sexton, COO, Kwik Kopy says, “That is a great result as we are a corporate entity the only B2B company within that top ten, it is an impressive result. The Kwik Kopy brand is particularly strong with 35 years of brand recognition and 100 centres around the country. We have fantastic marketing and the company has seen the greatest engagement with our marketing that we have ever seen.

“Strong marketing with Kwik Kopy is beneficial and we have both national and local marketing, with lots of online marketing which is where the majority of our spend is. We do spend a significant proportion with online which is where we are going to get the best return for our dollar.”

Sexton says he has some core elements in the company’s strategy for the financial year, “We are focusing on large format and signage where we have had tremendous growth this year. We are also focusing on our W2P offering, giving customers the ability to order online, with new improved tools coming out in the next 12 months. We also have new software released two years ago giving the franchisee the ability to analyse their current database and market to their database which has been hugely beneficial.”

Last year, Kwik Kopy appeared in the top 10 list, coming in fifth. Kwik Kopy has 96 stores across the country and provides printing, design, poster, web and digital and marketing services to its customers.
