Label power releases new digital printing and diecutting package

According to Pimera, the CX1200 utilises one of the fastest and highest-resolution colour laser engines available, which has a 2400 dpi print resolution and a print speed of 16.25 feet per minute.

The press also includes Primera’s IntelliTorque tensioning control system that continuously monitors tension across the web. It uses this feedback to apply variable torque on the rewind mandrel to ensure printers get perfect, tightly wound rolls every time, according to Label Power.

James Malone, managing director of Label Power says, “These machines are perfect for large corporates, label printers, on demand print shops, or anyone who wants to get into the full colour label market at a low entry cost.”

He continues, “One of the advantages of these machines is it enables you to be able to print any number of labels at any size without any printing plates, cutting dies or tooling. The FX1200 and the CX1200 is a complete label printing and cutting package with no set up costs.”

The CX1200 comes equipped with Primera’s easy to use PTPrint 8.0 for Windows production software, while the FX1200 is controlled through an integrated touch screen PC.

Instead of hard-tooled or flexible steel dies, the FX1200 utilizes digitally-controlled tungsten carbide steel knife blades. The system has finishing speeds of up to 30 feet per minute with Primera’s exclusive QuadraCut technology.

A wide range of stocks are available from Label Power including matt, gloss clear and white synthetic stocks.
