Labelmakers grows profits despite falling revenues

According to its most recent ASIC filing, net profits rose 2.4% year-on-year at the Melbourne label printer for the 12 months to 30 June 2012.

Consolidated revenue for 2011-12 fell by 3.1% to $129.5 million, but profit margins rose slightly from 1.74% to 1.84%.

The company scored a high-profile win during that reporting period when it produced personalised packaging for Coca-Cola's 'Share a Coke' campaign.

Labelmakers ended 2011-12 with 258 staff, and plant and equipment valued at $53.6 million.

The firm did not respond to ProPrint's request for comment.
