Lamination System releases Australian-built Ultra Bond

Sarah Smith of Lamination System said, “This new machine fills the gap between basic desktop laminating units and the high-end auto-feed machines. Until now there hasn’t been a machine specifically geared to the needs of the small print shop.”

The first machine of its kind, the Ultra Bond 520s was designed by Lamination System’s Matthew Wright and manufactured in Adelaide.

“We have proven you can be cost competitive and still manufacture quality machines locally,” Smith said. “This machine is simple to use, fast and due to the inline sheeter has a very small footprint.”

The new machine is suited to runs of 50 to 5,000 with a maximum size of A2.  Basic units start at $10,000. The Ultra Bond machines are available directly from Lamination System or through Xerox.
