Leadership change at Kodak GCG ANZ

Nick Notaras has been appointed managing director of Kodak Graphic Communications Group ANZ.

Kodak GCG says Green will work closely with Notaras “on a controlled hand over of the Australian and New Zealand GCG business in the coming months.”

Green says he relishes the opportunity provided by his expanded role across the Asia Pacific region and praises Kodak’s decision to develop and promote people from within ANZ to these key roles: “This shows its commitment to growing and developing its managerial talent pool”.

Notaras was formerly national sales manager for Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG). He transferred to Kodak GCG after the acquisition in March 2005 when he became general manager, Sales. He believes “it is vital to continue to provide the right solutions for customers and high levels of service. It is imperative to understand customers’ business needs and, through Kodak’s comprehensive range of products and services, develop tailored offerings that increase revenue and reduce costs as well as adding value to the Kodak business. With all the consolidation taking place, the key is to adapt to these changes, understand them and the market, and create competencies to work within the new environment.”

Streamlining the backend of the Kodak management system and centralising its customer service interface to have one point of contact will be a priority.

“We want to unify and streamline services to the market, which will lead to greater flexibility and responsiveness,” says Notaras. “This is a great opportunity to build on the success of Kodak’s GCG business in ANZ. We will continue to offer customers in ANZ, solutions that improve efficiency and maximise returns so they can be at their most competitive in this rapidly changing industry,” he concludes.
