Longbottom expands

The new offices and warehouse are located at Padstow in Sydney, and at 1500sqm are three times the size of the old Peakhurst premises.

“We had outgrown where we were,” says managing director, Colin Longbottom. “We built these the premises to our own specifications so we could continue to expand.”

The plans to move have been in the making since October 2004, and came to fruition on December 15, 2005.

Some of the new products already in stock at Longbottom include die sublimation paper, Indigo press products, colour copy and polyester stock for Xeikon presses, new canvas and art papers for photo reproduction and new prepress proofing paper, Ultra Proof.

“With the move we also intend to increase our staff and hope to double sales in the next few years,” says Longbottom.

The new premises at 26 Gow Street, Padstow, is centrally located near the M5.
