MailPack launches new colour mail printer

According to MailPack, the technology is capable of high throughput speed previously only available from more complex and costly equipment while producing brilliant 1600 dots per inch print quality.

MailPack adds that the Astrojet separates itself from competitive solutions with an intriguing value proposition. Three times the speed and one third the per-page print costs of alternative toner based print systems with wider media flexibility.

Advanced design and media flexibility also allows the AstrojetM1 to print at high speed on folded stock and inserted envelopes and because of its thermal inkjet technology doesn’t require heat or contact to create an image.

Michael Seale, sales director for MailPack says, “We believe that the AstroJet M1, using Memjet technology, will dramatically impact how colour printing is used in the mailing and trans-promotional market.

“The technology gives you the ability to print what you need when you need it at speed and in colour with variable date, a true on-demand process.”

MailPack will be show casing the Astrojet M1 for the first time in Australia, at PrintEx 11.
