MBE in aggressive expansion

Global print franchise Mail Boxes Etc Australia is pushing national expansion with new store openings, as it reveals its latest print promotion to coincide with International Print Day.

The group says it is charging ahead with its ‘aggressive expansion strategy’ in Australia with the opening of a new franchise on Ann Street in Brisbane this week.

“MBE Australia projects several more new franchises to open nationally in the coming months,” says the franchise.

Alongside its franchise growth, MBE is refreshing its marketing stratagem with a print campaign pushing traditional, printed promotion.

The campaign, titled MBE Print Month involves direct mail DL flyers, in-store banners and posters, e-newsletter blasts and social media engagement, as well as weekly specials culminating in a mysterious ‘super special’ on International Print Day, October 19.

Through celebrating print month, MBE says it is applauding the versatility and value of the time-honoured printed campaign.

“While digital is undoubtedly a powerful channel, MBE extols the virtues of instigating well rounded marketing campaigns, including the use of print,” says MBE.

MBE Australia CEO Clayton Treloar asserts print is still a crucial pillar of a successful marketing campaign both within the franchise and in the wider business environment.

“Print and direct mail campaigns are still an essential part of any good marketing campaign. With the popularity of digital media, a lot of companies are overlooking the power of print,” says Treloar.

“With MBE Print Month, we wanted to reinforce our commitment to the print medium as print is a growth area, while also supporting the IPD16 and Print Month campaigns.”
