Global print and mail chain store Mail Boxes Etc (MBE) has persisted its aggressive growth strategy with the opening of a new franchise at Pacific Fair shopping centre, the second largest complex in Australia.

The Pacific Fair franchise located in Broadbeach n the Gold Coast will be operated by MBE veterans Warren and Angela Winter, who together have owned the Robina MBE for more than 20 years.

According to MBE, the new franchise will be well-placed at the Pacific Fair shopping centre after the mall underwent a $650m revamp, making it the largest shopping centre in Queensland and the second largest in the country.

MBE says the Pacific Fair store is 100sqm in size and is equipped with the latest printing and mailing technology. Owners Warren and Angela noticed Pacific Fair was without an Australia Post, and took the opportunity to provide a necessary service to local Queensland shoppers.

“MBE Pacific Fair not only offers postage and delivery services, they also provide packaging supplies and a complete packing service for customers, DeliverEase. The private mail box service is popular with home based businesses and online shoppers,” says MBE.

“Being able to receive not only letters but parcels and packages from all carriers is convenient. Clients are notified via email whenever a large parcel or package arrives, which allows them to organise their day more efficiently by not waiting around at home for deliveries.”

The franchise giant says MBE Pacific Fair also offers printing and graphic design services including business cards, flyers, posters and banners and a range of apparel printing.

MBE now has 32 stores in Australia, with CEO Clayton Treloar setting an ambitious expansion target of 100.
