Mimaki unveils new range at Virtual Trade Show

Mimaki has lifted the lid on its updated print and cut range, the CJV 300 Plus series, which offers a time saving ID Cut functionality and the ability to print in white and silver ink, on its stand at Visual Connections industry-first Virtual Trade Show.

The online virtual show for the sign, graphic arts and print industries runs until the end of September and is open 24 hours a day with all stands featuring a selection of virtual tours, video tutorials, product info sheets and presentations about product features.

Mimaki Australia marketing manager Brad Creighton said the virtual show was a good way for Mimaki to show its products this year as many trade shows, including Visual Impact and drupa were postponed due to the current coronavirus pandemic.

Mimaki is using its virtual stand to display its range while placing special focus on its new range of printing technologies. It is releasing two new series of printers during the show, the CJV 300 Plus Series and the JV 300 Plus Series. It also has a new multi cutting plotter available – the CG-FXII Plus Series.

The CJV 300 Plus Series comes in 1.6m and 3m widths and operates with Greenguard certified SS21 inks and advanced maps for even higher image quality and stability as well as ethernet or USB2 as standard for connectivity.

Its application range is broad including labels, outdoor posters, illuminated signboards and fashion apparel.

“Mimaki solvent technology  has always been about choice for the consumer,” Creighton said.

“The CJV300 series is stacked with new features including ID Cut functionality, SS21 now with 600ml platter systems, advanced maps for even higher image quality and stability. Plus we have ethernet or USB2 as standard for connectivity.”

The other new product range to be unveiled is the JV 300 Plus Series which comes in 1.6m and 1.3m widths and uses the SS21 inks. This machine has the same features as the CJV 300 Plus Series with the exception of the ID Cut functionality and the ability to print in silver and white.

“This system can work together with the CGFX11 range of cutters for the ID Cut functionality,” Creighton said.

“This machine takes in all the DNA from our award winning previous models the JV300, JV33 and JV3. You need to check out the new plus series.”

Mimaki has also released a new multi cutting plotter, the CG-160FXII Plus.

“The CG-FXII Plus series is a new successor to the international best selling CG-FXII series,” Creighton said.

“This series comes in three sizes 750mm, 1.3m and 1.6m wide. Mimaki has the CG-160FXII Plus on display at the display centre in Sydney.”

Creighton says the new CG-FX11 series can also now use the ID Cut function.

“ID Cut is an identification code functionality in combination with a JV300 Plus series printer, it makes the ultimate print and cut production solution,” he said.

Creighton is also encouraging customers to visit Mimaki’s comprehensive 300 square metre showroom in Sydney’s Rydalmere with other displays centres also located in Brisbane and Sydney.
